We are excited to announce the TC/ESG25 Conference, a collaboration between the Transformations Community, the Earth System Governance Project (ESG), and Wits University. For the first time, the Transformations Community will host its 7th biennial conference in Africa. With a focus on collaboration, this event brings together researchers, experts, and their community partners who co-produce knowledge and actionable solutions for sustainability transformations.
TCX
TCX is an experimental extension of the Transformations Community, focused on action-driven research and collaboration. It creates a space where researchers and practitioners share ideas and drive change. TCX includes workshops, discussions, and partnerships across various communities.

TRAC 2025
Transformations Research In Action Committee (TRAC)
TRAC is a program advisory committee for Transformation Community’s 2023 Conference. They review abstract and select the conference presenters.
Lend your expertise to the TRAC by evaluating abstracts and maintaining the high quality of research presented at the conference. Your insights will help highlight groundbreaking work in the field of sustainability.
DoM 2025
The Department of Magic (Design Advisory Committee) advises on the design of the conference. The DoM focuses on a valuable, memorable and magical participant experience – before, during and after the conference. The Transformations Community is very grateful for these volunteers who each bring their own piece of magic
