TCX: Experimental Pathways & Projects

TCX is an experimental extension of the Transformations Community, focused on action-driven research and collaboration. Building on the momentum of TCX York, it creates a space where researchers, practitioners, and community members come together to share ideas and drive real-world change. Through workshops, discussions, and collaborations, TCX events foster deep, transformative learning experiences.

TCX events bring together local and global voices to explore region-specific themes and co-create practical, innovative pathways for change. With a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge-sharing, TCX offers flexible, impactful experiences that encourage cross-disciplinary work throughout the Transformations Community.

TCX-York: Exploring How We Show Up for Change

The inaugural TCX gathering was held in June 2025 at the University of York (UK), setting the tone for what TCX can be: a space not only for ideas, but for presence, experimentation, and unfinished conversations. TCX-York explored how we organise for transformation, not just in systems and strategies, but in how we relate to one another. Over three immersive days, participants engaged in practice-based workshops, collective sensemaking, and artistic expression.Rather than presenting polished outcomes, participants shared live tensions and insights, co-creating a reflective space to stay with what is still unfolding. The energy of TCX-York continues to ripple outward, shaping the direction of future gatherings and feeding into the design of the Transformations Community Agora.
