New Guide: An Introduction to Regenerative Dynamics

Ioan Fazey, Chino Bayoneta, Bill Sharpe, David Tyfield, and their collaborators have developed a new guide exploring what regenerative dynamics are, why they matter, and how people can recognise and support them in practice.

Complementing the previously featured Tools for Regenerative Practice, the guide examines the concepts and patterns underlying regenerative social-ecological systems. It draws on the Regenerative Lens framework to provide an accessible entry point for people seeking to understand how regenerative dynamics emerge and develop.

The team also brings these ideas to life through 25 initiatives from around the world, spanning farms and food systems, cities and settlements, bioregions, countries, continents, and globally distributed organisations. The examples illustrate both the possibilities created by regenerative approaches and the challenges experienced by those putting them into practice.
