The International Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Conference 2027 will take place in Évora, Portugal, from 31 May to 4 June 2027.

Hosted by the University of Évora, ITD 2027 will bring together researchers, educators, practitioners, students, policymakers, and others working across inter- and transdisciplinary research and practice. The conference theme, Bridging Knowledge and Networks: Inter- and Transdisciplinarity for Transformative Change, invites participants to explore how different ways of knowing, collaborating, and organising can support change in practice.

The conference offers space to share methods, experiences, tensions, and insights from work that crosses disciplines, sectors, communities, and forms of knowledge. It may be especially relevant for those working with sustainability transformations, knowledge co-production, collaborative research, institutional change, and systems practice.
