Wellbeing & Arts
The Arts and Well-being component of the conference offers a curated program aimed at reflection, creativity, and emotional processing. Through exhibitions and immersive experiences, attendees will explore transformative pathways to inner and planetary change.
This program blends sensorial, visual, and temporal elements, inviting participants to engage with both repressive and expressive experiences. With a mix of local and international sessions, the component fosters a nourishing space for knowledge exchange, shared experiences, and collective empowerment.
Attendees will explore the concept of transformation and what it means to create space for uncertain futures.
Empatheatre Project
An action research-based, theatre-making methodology that offers new ways of seeing different perspectives on a complex situation while honoring participants’ narratives, will be showcasing two projects:
- Lalela uLwandle: This project highlights stories of living with the ocean, addressing environmental injustices, marine science, and threats to ocean health.
- UNRULY: This project explores the question, “How should we act towards nature that doesn’t always behave as expected?” It covers themes like land history, wildfires, and human/animal relations.
