New Analysis Exposes Blind Spots in Global Sustainability Research

A new study published in Nature Communications, based on an analysis of 4 million scholarly documents, reveals major blind spots in sustainability research. The findings show that academic attention disproportionately focuses on technological solutions and individual behavior while overlooking systemic economic change and key institutional actors needed to address the climate and biodiversity crises.
