The 8th Biennial Transformations Conference (TC27) will take place in Bilbao in October 2027.

The move has been shaped by conversations across our community and by what this remarkable setting makes possible for the gathering.

How are we practising transformation as the conditions around us change? What are we learning, what is becoming harder to sustain, and what capacities do we need to develop together?

These questions are helping shape a gathering that connects researchers, practitioners, artists and others working on transformative change. TC27 will create space to bring experiences, work in progress and unfinished questions into conversation, welcoming people joining independently as well as through existing networks.
