Types of Tickets

• For your attendance, at Transformations Conference 2023, the Transformations Community provides different types of tickets as per our REGISTRATION webpage.  

• We are committed to achieving a more diverse community of global practitioners unconstrained by economic barriers that may hinder them from accessing everything TC has to offer. Conference ticket prices are based on where you reside primarily:

• Regular tickets: countries with High and Upper Middle Income

• Low-Middle Income Country discount. To determine your eligibility for the LMI discount, please refer to the list of countries of residence provided here- Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) classification as our guiding framework.

• Student discount is available to undergraduate students, Masters students, PhD students, and PhD Candidates. Note: In order to receive the discount, students agree to serve as rapporteurs during the conference (see form for further detail).

• If you’re interested in Student or Low-Middle Income country discounted tickets and meet the criteria mentioned above, please reach out to conference@transformations.org or fill out this form and we will get back to you. Based on the information you provided we will issue a one-time promo code that you can use when buying your ticket. 

• The discount applies also for Workshop and Multi-Stakeholder Day.

• Only one discount may be applied per purchase. 

Booking and Payment

• Booking online indicates acceptance of our booking conditions. By booking through our online system, you are registering yourself, or others within your organization, as paying delegates for the Transformations Conference 2023. 

• Regarding our ticket process, we make use of our community-events-partner Gradual.com.

• After filling in the invitee information on this secured website you need to give us further registration information. Please make sure that this information is valid. TC reserves the right to refuse your admittance in case of false information. 

• Having read through and confirmed our T&C you can choose your way of payment.

• To complete your registration and the ticket-buying process you have the option to choose between different Credit-Card payment methods: American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Visa Electron.

• If a voucher code is applied without fulfilling the condition of the voucher (e.g. attendance of other partner conferences), the full price of the ticket will be charged. We reserve the right to ask for evidence of the condition of the voucher. 

• If a discounted ticket is purchased without fulfilling the condition of the discount (e.g. low or middle-income country or student discount), the full price of the ticket will be charged. We reserve the right to ask for evidence of the condition of the discounted ticket (e.g. proof of the country in which you are residing).  

• By sending you our confirmation email we accept your offer to buy. This email contains a confirmation of your ticket purchase as well as a calendar invite. Please check the listed information and use the provided link to access the event. For amendments to your registration information, please enter your profile settings.

• You will ensure the information you provide for your ticket purchase is accurate, including in particular in respect of your contact details (which we will use to contact you from time to time and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions).

• The Fee covers your entry for the Event only and is exclusive of all travel, accommodation, insurance, and other costs (all of which must be arranged and met by you).

Attendance at the event

Compliance with instructions and regulations. Whilst attending the Event you and your Delegates will comply with:

• All applicable law, including (but not limited to) all health and safety legislation and requirements;

• All instructions given by us or on our behalf, including (but not limited to) any security arrangements; and

The terms and conditions of the Event venue. Safety and security:

• You and your Delegates are responsible for ensuring your safety and security whilst attending the conference. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you.

Filming and photography. 

• We may, at our discretion, choose to photograph, film, broadcast, or record the Event. Documentation materials may be used on TC and University of Technology Sydney promotional materials including websites, print collateral, and social media.

• You must notify us at least 48 hours before the Event if you or any Delegate do not wish for your or their name, voice, likeness, image, and/or contribution to be used. 

• We reserve the right to refuse you entry to the Event, or subsequently remove you or any Delegate from the Event, where you or any Delegate fail to comply with the Ticket Terms and Conditions.

Amendments, Cancellations, and postponements

• If you or a Delegate are subsequently unable to attend the Event, subject to our approval, you may transfer that booking to a colleague from the same organization without charge. All such amendments must be notified to us at least 24 hours prior to the date of the Event at conference@transformationscommunity.org  

• You can cancel your attendance at the event, but you will NOT receive any refund.

• Under no circumstances may your event booking be resold by you or on your behalf. If we have not charged you a Fee to attend the conference and you are unable to attend or offer an alternative attendee from the same organization you will be charged the cancellation fees set out in the Booking Form. 

• TC will not accept liability for transport disruption or individual transport disruption.

• In the unlikely event that TC has to cancel the event, your ticket cost will be reimbursed. TC is not able to reimburse you for any other costs like travel or accommodation.

Refund Policy

• Please consider that you may have the option to transfer your ticket to a third party within the same organization.

• No refunds will be given to you if you fail to attend our event (no-show) or fail to be on time for whatever reason. Tickets are not taken back.

Transformations Conference 2023 Related Communications

• By registering for Transformations Conference 2023, you agree to the Transformations Community storing and processing your contact information in order to receive information related to Transformations Conference 2023 via email.

• Your denoted name and any additional information you provide during registration (e.g. Country) might be used to personalize the email. By submitting your details you consent to receive our communications regarding the Transformations Community events and newsletter

• We will treat your personal information by data protection legislation. We will use your information for administration, communication, and research related to this event. To do this, we may share your information with our business partners and conference sponsors. Your contact information may be shared with other attendees of the conference for networking purposes through the app.
