Education for Sustainability Leadership - Supporting and Empowering Agents for Sustainability Transformations
How do we best design and operate learning experiences that truly build capacity for leadership for sustainability? A “state of the field” panel discussion and meta-analysis on systems education, sharing lessons learned, initiatives, and collaboration opportunities.
Transformations Evaluation and Assessment
Please join six of the global leaders in ‘assessment in evaluation’ for an engaging dialogue on the current state of the practice of assessment and evaluation as applied to large-scale transformation. Moderators Glenn Page and Michael Quinn Patton will welcome panelists from Africa, Australasia and the Americas to discuss the pressing need to both evaluate transformation and transform evaluation to do so. The expertise and global/local perspectives on this panel are immense and will be relevant to all practitioners and researchers concerned with adaptive learning in the Anthropocene Polycrisis.
Financing Systemic Transformation: An emerging field
How do you identify, obtain, and sustain funding for transformation initiatives? Current financing for addressing today’s poly-crisis is insufficient and disconnected from systemic change. The financial system needs deep systemic change, prompting innovative approaches in finance to transform its core. Piecemeal strategies fall short; new systems must displace traditional powerhouses. This panel explores the emerging finance field and its transformative qualities.
Network Leadership Development
A “state of the field” panel discussion and meta analysis on network leadership development, sharing lessons learned, initiatives and collaboration opportunities. This engaging discussion will delve into the core themes of network leadership and design, collective impact, and building capacity for systems-change initiatives. Key questions:
How can network leadership drive effective transformations in organizations and initiatives?
What are the critical components of collective impact design and how can it be leveraged for successful change?
What strategies are needed to develop the field and build transformative capacity in networks and systems-change initiatives?
