🦋 Position Overview:
We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee and coordinate key projects, including the AI initiative, the Coral Reef project, the Systems Change Education Catalog, and other Transformations Community initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to handle administrative and logistical tasks, and experience in community engagement. The Program Manager will work closely with project leads, team members, and community members to ensure the successful execution of initiatives that align with the Transformations Community's goals.
While this is a coordination-focused role, familiarity with the transformations research and practice field is essential. The Program Manager will not be responsible for conducting research, but understanding the context and the community's mission will be key to ensuring alignment and engagement.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Manage the day-to-day coordination of key projects, including the AI initiative, Coral Reef project, and other systems change initiatives.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and deliverables are met.
Support project documentation and reporting, ensuring all project activities are well-documented and communicated to stakeholders.
Community Engagement:
Foster engagement and communication within the Transformations Community to promote active participation in initiatives and events.
Serve as a liaison between project teams and community members, helping to disseminate information and encourage involvement.
Event Planning and Logistics:
Coordinate logistics for key events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences.
Manage event schedules, outreach, and communication with participants, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with broader organizational goals.
Administrative and Operational Support:
Assist with budget management and financial tracking related to project activities.
Manage schedules, contracts, and logistics for project teams and external partners.
Ensure proper documentation and organization of project materials, including reports, timelines, and financial records.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the point of contact for external partners and stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and updates on projects.
Coordinate internal communications, newsletters, and reports for the wider Transformations Community.
🎯 Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
Familiarity with the transformations research and practice field is important.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with event planning, community engagement, or project management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative and logistical processes.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Proficiency in tech tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, project management platforms (e.g., Trello, Asana), and CRM systems, with a strong interest or openness to learning AI tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
