Julianna Gwiszcz

She holds a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Arizona State University. Currently, she leads capacity building at the BRIDGES Sustainability Science Coalition and works as a Senior Scientist at Arizona State University. She also serves as a Senior Global Futures/Sustainability Scientist at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory at ASU. She's collaborated globally, from Africa and Latin America to Europe and Asia.

Her current work is:

Julianna has been actively involved in the Transformations Conference series since her eye-opening experience at the 2019 event in Chile. Recently, she co-led the planning and coordination for the multi-location 2023 Transformations Conference. Her role included creating a "Global Catalyst Guide" and working with various teams to enhance community engagement. She also supervised the Prague team alongside Bruce Goldstein. These efforts aim to strengthen the Transformations Community by fostering meaningful interactions and collective action for future events.
